I typically have kimchi jjgae, it is fantastic! My favorite dish there.
There is no buffet.
If you order at least a day ahead of the time you can get them
Yes they do
I have never ordered jajangmyeon. However, I believe the owner is likely to make it if more than one person orders it. It's an authentic, delicious Korean food you will find there. We drive 1 1/2 hours to eat there.
My daughter and I enjoy going here, but it is pretty high priced. Sometimes the lady will " strongly" suggest you try something. But then that is sort of in the Korean traditional way of doing things and she means good. The food is always good and we keep coming back. It's never crowded and they also have carry out. The only problem ,I'd love to see corrected, is for drinks to be refilled in a timely manner. The Bibimbap comes in the regular version( vegetarian or with meat,) or it comes in the hot version, brought to your table in an extremely hot stone bowl! It also comes with 5 or 6 Korean side dishes, which are delicious. I highly recommend it!Also, I have been here many times and have never seen this lady being mean or rude to customers. I believe that some people do not understand the language and cultural differences,is the reason they think she is mean. She is not! She is in fact, very sweet and nice!
So far I've had the bulgogi, bibimbap and the jeyuk bokkeum and they've all been great! All the banchan is delicious too! My favorite Asian spot in Chattanooga. Owner is super sweet ♥️
I was concerned the first time my sister took me here, but I’m honestly glad I did! The lady that runs it is so sweet, and remembers me every time I go in there. The best authentic Korean food I have ever had! My personal favorite thing to get is the short rib, and you should definable try it!!
service friendly and fresh, but was not any good. I must have ordered the wrong thing because it was similar to a dogfood and noodle salad. dishes here are very expensive for very little protein. Will not be back because the food was not very tasty
The egg rolls are spring rolls and they are expensive. Our server burped after she brought our food. I did not like the taste of my entree.
Amazing pho, sweet people!
best korean food in chattanooga
Authentically Korean :) 5 stars
The food and prices were good but the waiter was too friendly with my man.
DELICIOUS Kimchi Soondubu Jjigae & Veggie Bibimbap. Thank you so much for your wonderful cooking!
The food is delicious but as is usually the case, the food selections are priced exceptionally high. But you can't get that flavor anywhere else.
Wonderful and Healthy tasting Korean food, I personally like the dubu kimchi stir fry and meatball pho. The restaurant is owned by a family of three who are always very nice, several people seem to have reviewed this place badly on things that I will say are lies; not once have I ever been harassed about tipping or treated wrongly. Sometimes their daughter will be a waitress, but she is deaf so people may not realise and think she is rude, also the place is clean and well kept. My only gripe is that hours can vary because it is a family owned business and the owner will close up randomly at times to meet with her friends but that's not too bad as you can always call ahead and see if they are open.
Good and I don't even like Korean food
Best traditional made Korean food I have had in a long time and being married to a Korean wife I know Korean food lol. Service was great and food was delivered to our table quickly
First time visiting with my family and a very rude lady treated us poorly as if we were not worth to eat there. I asked for a drink and she immediately said no, she looked around at her Korean customers then tapped me on my shoulder with the chopstick and discreetly whisper to me about another restaurant. Would not recommend to anyone, unless I would guess if your Korean.
Always delicious food and the ajhumma is very nice and helpful of it is your first time eating there.
Small, family run, authentic Korean food. Very nice family and very good food!
I really like this place. We don't have any other local Korean food options! I like the bulgogi. The owner will try to direct your selection sometimes if you let here. Some people may find that off putting but she really means it in a motherly way.
Very good food, friendly staff.
The Pho was amazing! Definitely recommend!!!
We went there the other night and ordered an entree each and we wanted 2 egg rolls.... the woman working there took it upon herself to make up her own order of 2 appetizers of something we would never eat and charged us for it all. Never got our egg rolls. Food was awful - the Korean bbq was full of bones. This place is a total rip off. $20 bill turned into $54
Great tasting food ! The atmosphere is very peaceful, server was attentive and kind. Definitely one of my fave places to get authentic Korean food.
Great service awesome Tteok-bokki!!! Yummy..
I love their seafood pancake, but people are kindly rude. Today is my second time came to Seoul. I got my bill, there are three words caught my attention. The three words are “Respect Me Tip”!!! I know some customer they don’t tip, but still have lots customers tip nice. You can’t ask or write on bill to ask they for tips. That’s rude! Last time, I tipped they 20% even they didn’t sever nice🤐. I should take a picture bout this “special bill”, but the waitress ( the owner I think, lady)stand beside me and watched us took money for our wallet.
Im a chef of 13 years this is not authentic beef taste like beef broth is so reserved on flavor and no fish sauce or chilli flakes will not be coming back
Food was marginal, very disappointed as we drove for over an hour.
Love it! Wish they had the cold noodle soup. But everything I’ve had so far has been amazing.
Friendly staff and good table service. Decent prices and very flavorful. Plenty of parking spaces as well as plenty of seating for large groups.
Best place in town for bibimbap and have a good selection of both Korean and Vietnamese items, although the menu is primarily Korean. Great value for money.
1st time there and will be back again. Very good!!
Glad I finally found a place for great Pho on Chattanooga!! Server was super nice. Went in at a weird time (3pm) so it was empty, didnt matter since the food was great!
The owner is funny and friendly. The food is always delicious. I mean, what more can you ask for?
The lady is so friendly!! Me and my sister go so often she remembers what we like and recommends us stuff similar to it
Awesome place if you love real Korean food, love the family that runs it, very friendly and great food. No problem with parking, big parking lot. Children are welcome. Had been here a few times and each time simply just love the food. They are as traditionally Korean as you can get in the United States.
Yum and everything comes to you sizzling it’s so much fun. The food tastes so good totally going to come back here again 😊
What a pleasant surprise! Seoul is in a pretty nondescript strip mall, but turned out to be wonderful. First thing I noticed was how clean and pleasant the restaurant is. Tastefully decorated and spotless. I had the Korean stir fry with chicken, and it was super fresh with delicate flavoring that was delicious. It came with rice and sides of kimchee, a very good bean sprout dish, seasoned pineapple, and another side that was something like teriyaki potatoes (not sure exactly what it was but it was very good). My daughter and I loved it. Definitely in a different class than most cookie cutter Chinese restaurants, with a much lighter, subtler, and fresher approach. Kind of pricey for dinner, but reasonable for lunch. Definitely look forward to returning!
Very clean. She's funny and sweet. Her food is amazing!
korean food... super satisfying. This place is absolutely outstanding. The staff was very helpful and observant. This place has an awesome feel to it.
The food is always great and they remember you everytime you come in. They ask you about your kids and you feel at home here.
Its was mediocre at best. I've been to Korea so I know how things should be. Yakimandu was ok. I got bulgolgi and it didn't come with the leaves like every other time I've had it both in Korea and in US. Also it was quite dry. The ban chan was also very minimal.
Amazing. Come for the kimchi pancake, stay for the bibimbop. So delicious.
BEST Bulgogi EVER!!! (And some incredibly spicy, delicious soup)!
Looove this place!! Most authentic Korean food in town. So much flavor and delicately put together. If your driving by, you should stop by and get your Korean cravings fixed!!! The owner is such a sweet lady ❤.
For 23 years I have been enjoying a good bowl of pho soup 3 to 5 times a month. Tonight was a little unusual having Vietnamese soup at a Korean restaurant. The soup was very tasty but I was noticing that I was getting a lot of noodles and very little meat. I made a complaint to my waitress and she said I'm sorry you no pay. I explained to her that I only eat one time a day the last time I ate was about 24 hours ago. The Pho was going to be my breakfast lunch and dinner and I wanted to have the soup made a little better she went to the kitchen to complain to the chef and when she had come back to the table I showed her the very small pieces of meat I had. 8 bits. She was very upset with the chef five minutes later a whole nother soup came out and it was Awesome I'm very impressed with this restaurant. They take care of the customer. She said for me not to pay that it was free and I couldn't even give her a tip. I'm very. I AM impressed with SEOUL Cuisine!Dr.Mark
Authentic delicious Korean food served by a friendly staff that appears to be a family. We had Bimbimbop and the Spring rolls and it was sooo good! Definitely worth driving across town for. They will make dishes vegetarian and everything is so fresh and prepared so well.
This is first time I tried Korean and Vietnam food it was good experience, except for the vegetable spring rolls rest all were good , I was expecting it to be same as egg rolls which is more of like a fried one but they came in a roll with some wrapping and rice in it . I enjoyed the food and my friends had bowl with noodles , those were also pretty decent and good. Waitress that day was the only cooking person and she only was serving the food to us.
Worst Pho ever. Should be called “somethings that resembles Pho” Tastes like soy and salt with a hint of star anise. Service is terrible. It 6:45 I’m the only person in the place literally the only person and I can’t find my server.
Good place to eat good food
Passing through the area on vacation and had a craving for some Korean food. The bulgogi and jeyuk bokkeum was great and the portions were very generous. Yum!
